There could be multiple reason of pending shifts.
- Shift is under-staffed
- Staff confirmation is ticket
- Staff is double booked
- Staff is on leave
If you are unsure of the pending reason then please click on view reasons located at top right of the page. A box will open explaing pending reason.
Please read further explanations of above mentioned reasons.
Shift is under-staffed
In below screenshot, there are 3 clients rostered (one 1:1 and two on 1:2 ratio) which requires 2 staff in this shifts. However their is only one staff roster. Hence this shift is pending.
Staff Confirmation is ticked
If Staff confirmation required is ticked, shift will remain Pending (red) until allocated staff accepts the shift. You can also choose not to tick this box. In that case shift will move to Booked (green) state.
Staff is doubled booked
Shift will also be in Pending (red) if staff is booked in another shift. Second shift/reoccuring shift(s) saved will show "Pending" status. When you go inside the shift you will find double booked staff in red. (as illustrated in image below)
Staff is on Leave.
Once staff's leave gets approved, all his shifts will automatically turn red.
