According to NDIS price guide, 2018/19 Price Guide (NSW/VIC/QLD/TAS) (DOCX 277KB), page 17, instead of mileage, minutes can be charged towards second shift. See explanation below.

"Where a support worker travels from one participant appointment to another, up to 20 minutes of time can be claimed against the next appointment at the hourly rate for the relevant support item".

However, If organisation want to charge mileage (KM) between two shifts to second shift then it can be automatically calculated in ShiftCare.

Go to second shift and ensure address of the client on the first page is correct. Now click on select client.

Below page will open. In travel box insert address of first client, staff is travelling from and tick travel check box.

This way travel between the shift is automatically calculated.
