Creating a Shift on the Scheduler

Overview

Now that you're familiar with how Scheduler views and filters work, you can start adding shifts to the calendar.

In this article, we'll walk you through how this is done in two ways.


Adding Shifts

Using the Add Shift Button

To add a shift using the Add Shift button:

  1. Navigate to Scheduler on the left-hand menu.

  2. On the top-right side of your screen, click + Add Shift.
    ​

  3. This will open the shift detail view. Select client, shift type, area, pricebook, time & location, carer, and instructions.

  4. Click Save.

Using the Calendar

Alternatively, you can also follow these steps instead:

  1. The calendar is clickable. When on Staff view, click the specific day and time, next to the carer you want the shift for.

    If you're on Client View, you can click the specific day and time next to the client you want to add a shift.
    ​

  2. This will open the shift detail view, where you can select client, shift type, area, pricebook, time & location, carer, and instructions.
    ​

  3. Click Save.
