Funds management is the management of the cashflow of a client. This will help provider to plan services for the clients and forecast the availability of funds.
Adding Client's Funds in Shiftcare
Inorder to add funds, go to client detail page and click on Edit button on the bottom right of the page.
On Client detail page, you will see "Add Funds" Button. Click on it, in order to add funds.
Now add fund type, amount, Hours(if required) and expiry date (if Required). Then hit save.
Note: In order to put multiple funds, click on Edit tab (refer to first figure) and repeat the above steps. See below example of multiple funds.
Assigning funds to the Client in the shift
Now create a shift. Read Creating a Shift article to know more about this. On clicking "Select Client" below page will open. In the funds section(see dropdown below), select the fund you want to apply to the client and then hit "Done".
View Client funds breakdown
Go to "Client Breakdown" page in order to see the running total of the funds from the last column of the page. Running total will turn red when funds will go to negative.
Note: "Running Total" is the addition of all funds of the client. Running total of specific fund can be viewed by clicking "Select funds" and then from drop down menu select the fund type you want to view.
