For organisations with a large client database, rostering can be made simpler when assigning the rate group to clients by viewing only client-specific rate groups. This means that instead of selecting rates from the entire database for all clients, staff can select rates specifically assigned to each client. These rates are determined by two factors:
Rate groups assigned to the client on their client details page
The organisation's Account settings
So that rates and rate groups can be assigned to clients, please ensure that all required rates and rate groups have been properly entered into the database. To know more about adding rates click here
Once all rates and rate groups have been entered, make sure that either:
Clients have been added in the data base with their corresponding rate groups applied. To know more about adding rates click here
If there are already existing clients ensure that their rate groups are assigned accordingly. Additional rate groups can be assigned via the additional contacts section.
Assigning Client Rates
Client rate groups must be allocated in the client details page. From this page, one rate group can be assigned to the client by selecting rates groups from the drop-down menu in the Area section. This rate group will later be displayed in the rostering page when selecting clients.
Account Settings Set-Up
Once all clients have been assigned their rates, you can begin amending account settings.
Navigate to Account --> Settings
Once in settings locate the following two options:
Default Rate Group: Select the Client option to amend the default rate selected in the rostering process so that it displays the rate group allocated to the client in their details page. This setting simply ensures that the default displayed rate group is the one assigned to the client in their details page.
Even with the above setting selected you can still allocate different rates if required whilst generating shifts.

As can be seen above, selecting client in Default Rate Group means that the rate group assigned to the client in their details page will be presented by default when choosing clients in the rostering stage. Th
