Overview
The general rule is that: Hours over the limit are paid as overtime; the overtime rate applied is based on the day the overtime falls. This applies to Full Time, Part Time and Casual shift workers.
Below will be outlined the steps to setup pay rules for casual carers. Since the same rules apply to parttime carers the processes outlined below will also apply when settingup pay rules for parttime carers.
Overtime Carers: Casual and Part Time
For casual and part time carers the following criteria applies:

Overtime Monday Saturday:

The first 2 hours of overtime are paid at Time and a Half (T1X5)

The rest of the overtime hours are paid at Double Time (T2)

Overtime Sunday:

All hours are paid at Double Time (T2)

Overtime Public Holidays:

All hours are paid at Double Time and a Half (T2X5)

Pay Roll Code: CW_CAS_T1X5 (for part time: CW_PT_T2)

Award Group: Careworker CAS (for part time: Careworker PT)

Pay Rule Criteria:

For all overtime criteria the hours worked must be over the limit (daily hours agreed upon or as defined by SCHCDS) thus the rule is written:

Hours are greater than the Limit

Day of the Week (DOW) is Monday (1)* Saturday (6), thus:

DOW must be greater than 0 (Sunday), as the rule specifies that this rate applies for all shifts occurring from Monday (1) onward including shifts occurring on Monday.

DOW less than or equal to 6, as the rule specifies that this rate applies for all shifts occurring on days leading up to Saturday (6) but also including shifts occurring on a Saturday. Thus Sunday (0) and public Holiday (7) are not included as this rate does not apply to them.

*Remember: Days are represented by numbers
