Exporting Timesheets to MYOB
Follow these steps to export timesheet data:
Go to Account > Integrations > MYOB from the sidebar menu.
In the 'Feature Discovery' section, click the blue 'Export Timesheets' button.
Select staff members from the dropdown menu. You can choose from a single staff member, multiple staff members, or all staff members.
Enter the start and end date range for the timesheets you want to export. A list of staff members with timesheet data in that range will appear.
You can also toggle on 'Display only approved timesheets' to show only the timesheets that have been approved. Turning this off will show all timesheets regardless of approval status.
Review the timesheet details. Click the arrow beside a staff member’s name to view a breakdown of their timesheet entries, including the clients they cared for and their clock-in/clock-out times.
Click ‘Export Timesheets’.
A pop-up message will confirm the export process. Click ‘Refresh’ to check on the status of the export. Once complete, the timesheets will be sent to MYOB and will be ready for use in payroll.
If your organisation operates across multiple locations, a single export will automatically include all locations. The export will also automatically adjust the clock-in and clock-out times to reflect the correct local time zone for each location. (Note: This timezone logic currently applies to Timesheet exports only, not Invoice exports).

I received the error “PayrollCategoryNotAcceptable: Lines[1].PayrollCategory.UID” when exporting timesheets to MYOB. How can I resolve this?
This error usually indicates a mismatch between the pay items assigned in MYOB and those configured in ShiftCare.
To resolve this:
In MYOB, go to Employee > Payroll Details > Salary and Wages.
Check that the staff member has the correct pay items assigned.
Ensure these pay items match the ones in the staff member’s pay group in ShiftCare.
Once the pay items are aligned between both systems, the export should process successfully.
