Add Progress Notes to a Shift from the Web App for Office Staff

Learn how to add, review, and manage care notes on shifts through the Scheduler

Carers should add progress, enquiry, feedback, incident, injury and mileage notes from their mobile app. However, it is also possible to log in to the website app to add notes. If a carer misses uploading this information, office staff can also upload it on their behalf.

Adding Notes to a Shift

In the Scheduler menu, click on the shift that you want to add care notes to (progress notes, enquiry, feedback, incident, injury or mileage).

In the pop-up box that shows the shift details, click on the 'More actions' button, then select 'Add notes'.

Choose the note type (progress notes, enquiry, feedback, incident, injury, or mileage) from the dropdown menu.

You can then fill out the Note Body box with necessary information and attach a document (if required) in jpg, jpeg, gif, png, tiff, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, pdf, txt, zip, or eml formats.

The 'Keep note private' setting can be toggled on to make the note visible only to Admin and approved staff. Click on the blue 'Add Note' button to save the note.

Reviewing Notes

Once this is done, you'll be able to review the notes from both the event history of the shift and from the client's communications page.

Event History

To view shift notes in the web app, users can access the shiftโ€™s event history by clicking on the shift. Scroll down to the Events section, where you'll see the notes and when the dates were added.

Client Communications Page

To view notes from the client's details page, navigate to the Client List in the sidebar menu and click on the client's name. Click on 'Communications' in the client's menu, and you will be able to see the note and its details. You can also add new notes through this page.
