Beginning your subscription with ShiftCare

Different features are available on your account based on the selected subscription plan. For full details of the pricing, plans and features available please see the ShiftCare website here.

In this article we cover:

Subscription lengths

Subscription plans are charged in advance. There are two options available - monthly or yearly.

Month to month subscription

If selecting a month to month plan you will be charged from the day of subscription for a full calendar month.

Annual subscription

If taking advantage of the discounted annual subscription you will be charged for the full year in advance.

Selecting a subscription plan

At the end of your trial or when your subscription lapses due to failed payment when logging in to ShiftCare you will see the different

To upgrade your subscription simply choose the subscription package you wish to upgrade to and click on Select this plan.

Adding staff licenses

After selecting the desired subscription plan, following Add Staff, assign the Number of staff to add to the subscription.

πŸ“ Each subscription plan begins with 5 licenses, additional licenses can be added one at a time as needed

The total amount is displayed before finalising the payment and is based on the subscription plan selected and the number of staff licenses.

Once you have chosen your subscription plan you will be directed to the payment information page.

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Master, AMEX, Discover, JCB and Diners cards.

Subscription summary

Your subscription will begin after the payment occurs.

To access and review your subscription plan through Account > Subscription:

The subscription page confirms the following details:

  • Your selected subscription plan

  • Billing period (either monthly or annual)

  • Current Period the date of sign up

Changing your subscription between billing period

Any changes to your subscription are invoiced on a pro-rata basis so you only pay for what you use.

Since the subscription costs are paid in advance, if you downgrade the subscription plan or reduce the number of licenses available, the amount will be provided as credit against future subscription costs.

Increasing the number of licenses or subscription plan will be charged immediately on a pro-rata basis.

Manage / update the subscription

To edit your subscription plan from Basic to Pro or Premium > Click Edit Subscription at the top right corner.

  • Choose a Plan from the drop-down lists πŸ‘ˆ you do not need to change this if you want to change the staff licenses

  • Choose a billing option either, Pay Monthly or Pay Annual as it will calculate according to the subscription plan > Click Update
