This is for pending status in Dashboard (legacy version) only. If your account is on the Scheduler version, read the following article to learn more about your shift's pending status: Identify pending shift reason.

A pending shift can be caused when a shift is awaiting staff confirmation. 

If the assigned care worker has not provided confirmation for the shift assigned to them then the following will occur:

  1. The shift will be sent into a pending state

  2. The assigned care-worker will be highlighted orange

Staff Confirmation Required

This enables staff to confirm their attendance when they have been assigned a shift.  If you do not require confirmation from staff then simply leave this checkbox unticked (as shown in the screenshot below)
