Introduction
Client signatures enable you to verify a service was completed by having participants sign directly in the Carer's ShiftCare mobile app upon the completion of their shift. This will assist in resolving disputes and queries around services provided.
Feature Availability
You must be subscribed to ShiftCare's Premium subscription. Basic and Professional users will need to upgrade before using this feature.
How does it work on the ShiftCare mobile app?
Simply create your shifts in the usual way. Signatures will be available on all new and existing shifts.
When a Carer views their shift on the mobile app, they will see the new 'Signatures' option:
Click 'Signatures' then click the '+' icon...
The 'Add Signature' page is displayed. Note that if there are multiple participants, your staff can obtain signatures from individual participants by using the dropdown menu and selecting the relevant participant:
The participant can now provide their signature. Staff can add notes to inform you of any additional information necessary when collecting the signature.
Click 'Save' and repeat for any additional signatures required for the shift if required.
A confirmation message will appear at the top of the mobile screen.
Staff can review signatures by clicking on the participant's name.
How does it work on the web app (admins and office workers)?
As your staff collect signatures, they will be instantly available for review on the ShiftCare web app. There are a number of ways to view signatures.
By viewing the shift
When you click on a shift from the scheduler, there is a new 'Signatures' tab next to 'Events'. Clicking on the 'Signatures' tab will show you the collected signatures for that shift:

Switching to tabular view will allow you to see a snapshot for the entire day. Switch to tabular view using the dropdown menu:
Collected signatures are denoted by the signature icon:
Hover over the signature icon to display the collected signature along with any notes entered by the staff member:
