Enabling Web Clock In and Out

Learn how to enable clocking in and out of shifts from the web.

ShiftCare allows staff and admin users to clock in and out of their assigned shifts directly from the web portal. This provides an alternative to mobile app clock-ins and makes it easier for users working from desktop devices.

Note: Web clock-ins do not validate break times, medications, Need to Know information, tasks, or forms. The system only validates clock-in and clock-out times against the scheduled shift time window.

Shifts clocked in/out on the web are not included in EVV reporting.

Enabling Web Clock In/Out

Before staff members can clock in/out from the web, an admin user must enable the setting.

  1. Navigate to Account > Settings.

  2. Scroll to the Time and Attendance section and click 'Edit'.

  3. Toggle on 'Allow carer to clock-in/out via web' and click 'Save'.

After this setting is enabled, staff will see a Clock In/Clock Out button on their assigned shifts when logged in on the ShiftCare web portal.
