Carers should add progress notes, enquiry, feedback, incident, injury and mileage from their ShiftCare App. However, it is also possible to log in to the website and add notes. Also, if a carer misses to upload this information then it can be uploaded by office staff as well.

In the scheduler menu, click on the shift in order to add care notes (progress notes, enquiry, feedback, incident, injury or mileage) to the shift.

In the pop-up box that shows the shift detail, click on the 'more action' button then select add notes.

Choose the care notes types (progress notes, enquiry, feedback, incident, injury or mileage) from the drop-down menu on the dialogue box that opens. You can type the information and upload a document (if required) in jpg, jpeg, gif, png, tiff, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, csv, pdf, txt, zip or eml format. Then click on the 'add' button to save the notes.

Once this done, you'll be able to review the notes from:

  1. Shift detail, event history. To view this, you can simply click on the shift. In the pop-up box that shows the shift detail, scroll down the page to see the notes detail.

  2. Client's communication page. In the clients menu, choose the related client profile, then on their communications page you can review the notes detail.
