Why am I not receiving ShiftCare app notifications?

Staff receive the following notifications via the app.

  • Approve/reject clock in/out times

  • Shift shared by employer

  • Approve/Decline leave

  • Shift cancellation/edit notification if an employer clicks on "notify staff"

The reason you are not receiving notifications is because your notifications option is switched off. You can turn ON these notifications by following the below steps.

Summary steps to turn on notifications

Access your settings, select the ShiftCare app, select notifications, turn on "allow notifications", tick Lock screen, Notification centre, banners and select the banner style as persistent and she is still not receiving notifications

Full steps for:

Android:

Step 1: Go to Phone Settings and then click on App and notifications option.

Step 2: Click on ShiftCare

Step 3: This will take you to ShiftCare info page. Now click on Notifications

Step 4: Now turn on the notifications by clicking on Show notifications. You can click on advance notifications as well for an advance notification settings.

iPhone

Step 1: Go to Phone Settings and then find "ShiftCare".

Step 2: This will take you to ShiftCare App setting page. Click on Notifications option.

Step 3: Now click on Allow Notifications as shown in below screenshot. There are other options on this screen as well eg sound, show on Lock screen etc. according to your requirement you can turn on those options aswell.
