Overview
When you add staff to ShiftCare, the system will automatically send them an invitation to set a password. However, there are two other ways to get them integrated using ShiftCare within your organisation.
Send an Invitation link
Direct them to sign up at ShiftCare.com
Send an Invitation Link
This is an easy way to make sure the carer signs up correctly. It will ensure they are linked with the correct organisation. To find the link navigate to Account Settings.
Click Account drop down menu in the sidebar, then click Settings.
Navigate to the setting that says "Company". Here you will notice a button next to Carer Invitation Link that reads "Copy to Clipboard", click this button and the link address will now be copied to your clipboard. Using the relevant paste function for your operating system you can paste this link into an email, or alternative communication method.
Note: Usually "right clicking" in a text field will bring up a menu where you can select "paste".
The carer will click the link you provided and be directed to this screen. They can now enter their details. The Company Name and Manager Email will be automatically filled so the Carer only needs their name and email to continue.
This will then email the Manager the request to join for approval.
Click the link in the email to approve their request to join.
Now you can add extra details and set them up as a new staff member
Click Create when you are finished.

If you can't get on to your ShiftCare app to provide an invitation link, then through this method you only need to give them the Managers Email to successfully link to your organisation.
Tell the carer to go to Shiftcare.com and click "Start Trial" in the top banner.
Then click "Join Team" under the heading "Is your team already using ShiftCare?"
Now they can enter their detail as before, although through this method Company Name and Managers Email are Blank, so they must enter the correct email here to be linked to your organisation correctly.
This will then email the Manager the request to join for approval.
Click the link in the email to approve their request to join.
Now you can add extra details and set them up as a new staff member.
Click Create when you are finished.
