ShiftCare provides export formats compatible with:
Xero
QuickBooks (QBO)
MYOB AccountRight
Navision Billing
For other accounting platforms (e.g. Reckon), you can use a CSV file, which is widely supported for imports.
How to Export Invoices
Step 1: Go to the Invoice List page.
Step 2: Scroll to the bottom and click the Download button.
Step 3: Select your preferred file format.
Step 4: The system will begin generating the export file.
Step 5: Download the exported file
Once ready, you will receive a notification at the top of the page.
Click the notification, and you'll be taken to the Staff Communication page where you can find the link to download the file.
What’s Included in the Export
The exported file contains summary-level invoice data, such as invoice number, client details, and invoice totals.
The CSV invoice file supplies the main invoice details that your accounting software can use to monitor payments.
You can use the invoice number to locate full invoice details (including line items, dates, duration, and pricing) within ShiftCare.
Additional Notes
For platforms like Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB, invoices are typically managed and sent directly from those systems after export.

Can I change who the invoice export file is emailed to?
No, the invoice export file is sent to the user who initiated the export and cannot be redirected to another recipient.
