Clockin location check

Enable this feature to track the location of your staff when they clock in or out of their shifts. You can chose to enforce a geofence.

Enable Location Check

Navigate to Account > Settings

In the Time and Attendance section, toggle Clockin Location Check

Enabling the setting will force carers to share their location with the ShiftCare Carers App. Documentation on how staff can share their location on the app is here.

By enabling this toggle, you are enforcing a geofence for the shift. When the carer clocks in/out, ShiftCare will compare their location with the location assigned to the shift. If the carer is more than 1km away from the location, it will not allow them to clock in/out

Allow Clockin Outside of Location Radius

With this additional toggle, staff will still be allowed to clock in/out outside of the 1km geofence mentioned above, but staff can receive a notification to advise that this happened.

Enable Allow Clockin Outside of Location Radius

Navigate to Account > Settings

In Time and Attendance, once the Clockin Location Check is enabled, you will see the toggle for Allow clockin outside of location rules.

Notifications

Office staff can receive notifications whenever a carer clocks in/out outside the radius.

Navigate to Staff > List

Click on the staff member who wishes to receive notifications

Ensure Subscribe to Notifications is enabled

Select Clock in - out of range or Clock out - out of range from the Subscribed Email Categories list
