If you or your staff are unable to log in to ShiftCare, follow the steps below based on where you're accessing the system.
Mobile App Login Issues (Staff User or Carer)
1. Incorrect Email or Password
If a staff member cannot log in:
Double-check the email address and password for typos or extra spaces.
Clear the app cache or reinstall the app, then try again.
iOS (iPhone)
On iOS devices, deleting the app will clear its cache and stored data.
Open Settings.
Tap General.
Tap iPhone Storage.
Select ShiftCare from the list of apps.
Tap Delete App.
Tap Delete App again to confirm.
Reinstall the app from the App Store, then log in again.
Android (Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi, Google Pixel, etc.)
Open Settings.
Tap Apps (or Applications, depending on your device).
Select ShiftCare from the list of installed apps.
Tap Storage.
Tap one of the following (wording varies by device):
Clear Cache
Clear Data
Clear Storage
After clearing, reopen the app and log in again.
Reset the password here:
If the staff member is unable to reset their password:
Admin, HR, or Ops users can reset it on their behalf: Reset password for your staff
2. Onboarding Invitation Email Not Received
If a staff member did not receive their invitation:
Confirm the email address entered in ShiftCare is correct.
Ask them to check their spam or junk folder.
Ask your IT team to ensure emails from notification@shiftcare.com are not blocked and are added to the whitelist.
If needed, resend the invitation: Resend invitation to carer
3. Account Status Is Inactive
Check the staff's account status in the Onboarding Status column on the Staff List page. If the status is still Pending Review, this may hinder the login process because the account is inactive. Please do the following steps to resolve it:
Ensure the staff member has accepted the invitation and completed onboarding.
Once completed, set the account status to Active:
Go to Staff List
Click Bulk Update
Select Update all to Active

4. Forgot Password
Reset your password here:
If you are unable to reset it:
Contact your Admin user for assistance.
Web App Login Issues (Admin & Office Users)
1. Confirm You’re Using the Correct Website
Use the official login URL for your region:
Australia: http://app.shiftcare.com/
United States: https://us.shiftcare.com/
Canada: https://ca.shiftcare.com/
United Kingdom: https://uk.shiftcare.com/
2. 2FA Verification Code Not Received
If you are not receiving your verification code:
Check your spam or junk folder.
Ask your IT team to ensure emails from notification@shiftcare.com are not blocked and are added to the whitelist.
3. Forgot Password
Reset your password here: Reset password
If you are unable to reset it:
Contact your Admin user.
If you are an Admin and still cannot reset your password, please contact Support.
