Below is a reference table outlining the key differences between Prices and Pay Items.

Prices

Prices are what you invoice to your clients

● NDIS pricing can be imported directly into ShiftCare

● NDIS pricing can also be entered in manually

● Create your own customised price book (pricing) to charge your clients

● Manually enter NDIS pricing if you don’t wish to use ShiftCare’s import feature

● You can create fixed pricing options for both NDIS and custom pricing

Pay Items

Pay Items define staff entitlements such as hourly rates (pay groups) and allowances
● Pay Items consist of Pay Groups and Allowances

● You can create as many Pay Groups as you like. e.g. Casual, Part time, Full time

Allowances can be created for fixed costs such as a First Aid Certificate allowance
