Requesting a Downgrade From Premium or Professional Plans

Learn why plan downgrades can’t be done in the app and how to request a downgrade through our team for a smooth transition.

If you’re currently on a Professional or Premium ShiftCare plan and would like to move to a lower subscription tier, our team is here to help.

Why You Can’t Downgrade Through the App

Customers who upgrade from Basic to Professional or Premium, or from Professional to Premium don’t have a self-service downgrade option in the app. This is because higher plans include advanced features, capabilities, and allowances that may impact your account setup if removed.

To ensure a smooth transition and avoid any disruption to your rostering, billing, or reporting, downgrade requests are handled directly by our Customer Success team.

How to Request a Downgrade

If you’d like to explore moving to a lower plan, please contact us at cs@shiftcare.com with the subject line “Plan Downgrade Request.”

Include the following:

  • The email address linked to your ShiftCare account

  • Your current plan

  • The plan you’d like to move to

  • Any details about your current usage or requirements

A CSM will review your account and guide you through the best available options.
