The Feature Settings page gives you control over which modules and functionalities are active in your ShiftCare account.
By toggling specific features on or off, you can customise your workspace, hide unused navigation menu items, and streamline the interface for your admin team.
To configure which features are enabled for your account, navigate to Account > Feature Settings from the sidebar menu.
Each section on this page represents a major module in ShiftCare.
If a feature is enabled (Toggled ON): The feature is active. The relevant title will appear in your main navigation menu (sidebar menu), and the functionality will be available throughout the platform.
If a feature is disabled (Toggled OFF): The feature is deactivated. The related title is hidden from the main navigation menu (sidebar menu), and related filters and options (e.g., in the Scheduler or Shift creation drawer) are hidden.
The following features can be managed from this page by clicking 'Edit':
Medication Management: This feature allows you to create, track, and review medications and medication plans for clients.
Quotes: Create branded sales quotes, care plans, and service agreements and send them instantly.
Task Settings: This feature allows you to create, update, complete, and invoice tasks. Tasks can be linked directly to clients or created as standalone items.
Task Types and Prices: Define specific task categories for Task Management and link them to price books for billing purposes.
Incident Management: Incident forms in ShiftCare automatically create incident tickets, turning carer-submitted forms into tracked incident reports.
EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) (NA): This feature syncs your ShiftCare account to the EVV aggregator in your state.
Facilities: This feature allows you to manage physical locations, assign shifts to specific sites, and attach compliance documents that staff can access via the app. Turning this off removes Facility filters from the Scheduler and Facility selection fields in shifts.
Publish Shifts: This feature lets you create unpublished/draft shifts in advance and publish them to your team when the schedule is finalised.
Advanced Break Tracking: This feature lets you set up and manage break time tracking, with options for paid/unpaid breaks, scheduled breaks, or flexible breaks.
Offline Mobile: This feature allows carers to access key shift information and perform clock-ins and clock-outs even without an internet connection.
Instant Messaging: This feature lets you chat in real time with your staff in ShiftCare. Toggle 'Send Care Signal Alerts via Chat' on to receive alerts when a note has been flagged.
